The Abbots Barton Hotel's interesting history dates back to 1830 when it was built as a private house on the site of the Barley Farm of St. Augustine. It became a hotel in 1927 and has since expanded to its present size comprising 53 guest rooms, 'The Fountain Restaurant' which seats up to 70 people, 4 private function rooms suitable for conferencing and syndicate meetings and The Cathedral Room which is perfect for large wedding parties and groups seating up to 150 guests and offers views and direct access to beautifully landscaped gardens.

With excellent, individually styled newly refurbished rooms, you are provided with every amenity expected of the standard of hotel, but will also enjoy a personal touch as our hotel is full of character.
